Overview

Osmo Teak Oil Spray is a clear solvent-based teak oil spray that protections and maintains garden furniture made from hardwoods.

Osmo Teak Oil Spray protects, maintains and improves the appearance of exterior hardwoods. It has excellent durability and is an easy finish to maintain. The wood will be kept nourished to reduce cracking, splitting and therefore keeping the finish intact.

Ingredients:	Based on natural plant oils (sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil and linseed oil), siccatives (drying agents) and additives, biocidal active ingredient: Propiconazole. Dearomatized white spirit (benzene-free).

Usage

PREPARATION

Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%).
Spray is ready to use. Shake spray can well and carry out trial spray.
Clean old microporous stains thoroughly. Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed.
Wear a dust mask during sanding works (as a general rule).
Hardwoods with an especially high content of natural wood extractives need to weather off (for approx. 4 weeks) or be degreased with Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner.
The condition of the wood and other factors can influence the finished surface. We highly recommend a trial application, especially for unfamiliar surfaces.

APPLICATION

Spraying distance approx. 25cm. Rub in with a brush afterwards.
While applying, cover and protect surrounding areas and parts that should not be treated against the spray mist. Wipe away any excess with a cloth.
Allow to dry for approx. 12 hours under good ventilation and apply a second coat.
When renovating, one coat applied is usually sufficient.
Clean spray nozzle after use.
Drying Time: Approx. 12 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23°C/ 50 % rel. humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher air humidity can increase the drying time.
Ensure area is well ventilated whilst drying.
